Fees are invoiced at the beginning of each term via an invoice sent by email. Payment is by direct debit from your nominated bank account or debit/credit card only.
There are 2 different payment options:
Option 1: Pay in full by direct debit on the Thursday of Week 2. By doing this you will receive a 5% discount on the full fee amount.
Option 2: Pay fortnightly via direct debit which will commence on the Thursday of Week 2 each term.
All fees are paid via direct debit. through our software provider, SmartCentral & Child Care Easy Pay.
Any family who has outstanding fees by the first day of the following term will have their child’s place revoked.
If you hold a Health Care/Pension card or your child has an additional need or indigenous heritage, you are eligible for a reduced rate of fees. You will be able to indicate this on your online enrolment application, which will reduce your fees.
Any families experiencing hardship in paying fees should contact the Director, or Finance Officer as soon as possible.
ANNUAL FAMILY ENROLEMENT FEE (covering both Preschool & OOSH Services) - $50.00 paid on enrolment (non-refundable). This fee is used to contribute towards software/administration running costs and to provide your child with a preschool hat that stays here - so you don’t have to bring a hat each day!
LATE PICK UP FEE- $50.00
Preschool hours are from 9am–3pm. Children are not allowed on the premises unless they are enrolled and booked into OOSH for that session. If children are not pre-booked into OOSH, an out of hours fee of $50.00 will be charged for each late pick up.
Short Sleeve T-shirts - $15.00
Long Sleeve shirts - $20.00
Preschool shirts are a family friendly way of ensuring your child is ready for action at preschool. They allow children to get muddy, messy and painted on without ruining their good clothes. It also builds your child’s independence as they can dress themselves in their preschool t-shirt each day. Long sleeve shirts are perfect for the rainforest or in the cooler weather.
A reusable alternative to plastic bags, the Smelly Bag is a waterproof wet bag that will keep your child's wet clothes separated from other items. These are available for purchase for $15.00 each.
We have a fundamental belief that in order for us to care for and educate your child to the highest possible standards we must work closely together with you, the family.
As a non-profit service all our funding goes directly in providing you our comprehensive program, beautiful environment and quality staff while maintaining some of the lowest fees in the area. In order to maintain low fees we need family participation and help.
Families have the opportunity to earn back $100.00 per term off their fees through family participation. This refund can be in full or in part depending on your contributions. It is expected that families will participate at least one full day in order to earn back the $100.00 for that term.
Some of the ways you can work towards a refund of your parent participation is by:
Joining your child at preschool one or more full day per term as a parent helper. Your participation will free up more time for our educators to be face to face with the children by helping with tasks such as setting up or packing away activities, cleaning and laminating. It is also a good way to watch how your child engages with the activities.
Volunteering for Working Bees
Volunteering to do maintenance or heavy duty cleaning during school holidays or on a weekend
Helping with fundraising
Coming in to share a special talent or hobby such as cooking, a second language
Hold an office bearer position on the Committee
Participation is not restricted to parents. Grandparents, aunties and uncles are welcome to share in the operation of our service.
