Liz Tomasetig and Janice Dorrough have won awards of excellence from the North Coast Institute of TAFE with Liz being awarded for her excellence as a trainee and Janice honoured for her outstanding achievements in Child and Family Services.

As a devoted member of our local community, Kris believes in life-long learning and strives to bring out the best of each child’s potential. Her passion is for engaging children in sustained shared thinking. This year Kris is also a guide and mentor for all of the Preschool staff. Her experience, as well as her genuine care for this centre makes her perfect for this role.

Having started with us as a student, Janice was too valuable an asset to let go, so we gave her a position. She has a beautiful caring nature and treats every child with the utmost dignity and respect. Her current interests include children’s relaxation and body coordination skills.

Liz is another of our devoted local community members. Her links with local families ensures that a working partnership is formed to enhance the reflection of each child’s culture in our service. Liz also has a keen interest in children’s music, movement and connection with the natural environment.

Amanda began her time here as a student, but she was just too good to let go of. She is an outstanding educator whose heart is to see children and families healthy and whole. She also has a happy disposition and infectious laugh!

Leonie has experience with children with additional needs and approaches OOSH with a view to assisting all children to feel that they belong and are appreciated for who they are. Leonie has two adult children who are a blessing and have helped shape her into the wonderful educator/ leader that she is today.

Felicity joined our team in 2019. She has worked in childcare for the past 8 years and has also volunteered at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary because of her love of animals. She also holds a Diploma in Library & Information Services as Felicity loves to read and learn new things.

Ryan Sullivan
OOSH Educator
Studying a Bachelor of Business Management - Accounting
Ryan joined our team in 2019. He also works as a SLSO (Teacher’s Aide) at Bilambil Primary School, therefore he already has a great rapport with the children that come to OOSH. He has a love of NFL and NBA sports. Ryan is also currently completing his Bachelor of Business Management, majoring in Accounting.

Natalie Phillips

Natalie has been working here since early 2017 and has been instrumental in implementing changes to streamline the financial and administrative side of the business. She lives on the Gold Coast with her husband and 3 children and works three days a week.
Jodie Williams
Administrative & Enrolments
Jodie has recently joined us here at the Preschool and is another Bilambil local. Jodie joins us 3 days a week, working alongside Natalie. Jodie comes from a Dentistry background and will be providing support to the whole team. There is no task too big or too small that she won’t take on.
